It’s a quarter to nine in the evening but the sky is still bright. There is no sound except for a single bird crossing the calm water. Squawking, flapping its wings, zipping low as it looks towards its destination, hurrying to seek shelter with the rest of the animals. Whilst the sun has gone, she still squints as she looks skyward towards the forming clouds. “You think it’ll storm tonight?” Zelda twists and looks over her shoulder, dusting the crumbs off of her palm and onto her corduroys. Truth be told, there was something more brewing than just a storm.
