The demo for Dr Finklestein's Marvelous Room came out and I played it, and I wanted to draw the doctor himself. So have these two quick drawings I did
Funniest thing I’ve ever done is forget this the day after I said I wouldn’t, so I’ll do two today
Daily Femboy Music Recs: Day 4??
First one’s gotta be Wu-Tang Clan - Slow Blues (feat. Byata, Prodigal Sunn, Timbo King & Vast Aire)
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t have much to say about this song that it doesn’t already say itself. Great beat, chill blues music with smooth rhymes and just overall a sick track. I’m not brave enough to comment on the lyrics other than to say that they’re pretty based
Next one, Wardruna - Runaljod
Gonna be honest, I have no idea what these guys are saying. I even tried running the lyrics through a translator and I still don’t know. The music is pretty sick though I love some good old fashioned Viking music, makes me feel like marching through a forest with a broadsword. The drums, the vocals, and my god that chorus, it’s epic. So yeah
You thought I’d forget today? HA bitch no
Daily Femboy Music Recs: Day 3
I Monster - Backseat (Sticky Black Plastic Mix)
The original song’s vibes aren’t really my thing, but this mix is fire tbh. Nice upbeat rock riff that shifts into something a bit heavier near the end. Femme fatale vibes. This song is sexy and fun and I love jamming out to it when I’m alone at work. Highly recommend for anyone who’s into a bit of experimental rock and/or needs a bit of a pick-me-up
Daily Femboy Music Rec Day 2:
Wax Tailor - Que Sera
Probably the most iconic song by this artist afaik, it’s a pretty good introduction to the triphop/scratch scene (for the record I have no idea if that’s the actual name of this genre, I just think it’s neat). The voice samples and relaxing lo-fi beat create a certain vibe that just soothes my soul for whatever reason. It feels like sipping a mojito while you watch the chaos and turmoil of the world unfold around you, which I think, from listening to the chorus, a mixed sample of Doris Day’s “Que Sera, Sera”, is the point.
