I love it when Karkat gets so angry he just does the thing he is angry about, as a solid spite move.

Why is it that Karkat can write all his friends in character but not himself?
Can we just appreciate this? Not Karkat watching romance movies (he would have done it anyway) but watching and taking notes of all movies he can get his hands on, just so he can write a decently culturally translated version of his work for Dave to understand? Like, Karkat didn’t need to go that hard, but he did.
This entire comic was told in silence and it is beautiful.
