Feeling a little. . . listless today.

Deej is out touring with the combat troopers again. Life Day has passed. Captain Peavey has threatened to skip re-education and just toss me out of an airlock if I start decorating for Halloween.

I need something to look forward to.

I gave K8-T3 her new step stool today. She was confused until I explained what it was for.

I told her I'd have preferred to upgrade her with some cool extendable legs, but I was worried that would really mess with her balance since she was already so tall. This was the best alternative I could come up with.

She loved it.

Now, I don't like to make generalizations based on gender, but between Katie's love for being taller and Deej's appreciation for our Val'enteen's gift, I'm beginning to think females really like stuff you can climb.

Maybe I'll get Captain Phasma a really nice ladder for Life Day.

I'm looking forward to having some photos made in Mitaka's photo booth at the Imperial Birth Day Party. I'd like to send some updated ones to Deej. I even decided to visit Eileen today for a haircut and beard trim so I'll look all dapper.

I don't know if I'll be allowed to take my helmet off at the party, so the new haircut may not be visible in the photos, but Deej will know. She can always tell when I'm feelin' ~*fancy*~

Back home again and had a blast at the Halloween party.

I'm glad I didn't go with the "'Sexy General Hux" costume idea, because, like, 12 other people were dressed that way. Possibly including Hux, himself, though I wasn't 100% sure and I was too afraid to ask.

I had a great time dressed as a Sexy Jawa. A few people said it was a great Jawa costume, but asked what part made it "sexy". They didn't seem convinced by my answer ("Well, it's a Jawa."), so I panicked and told them I wasn't wearing anything under the robe.

Deej decided to coordinate our outfits into a couple's costume this year, so she went as a Sexy Droid: very little paneling and lots of exposed wires. It was great.

Now that the party is over, it's time to get some rest.

I need to wake up early in the morning to start decorating for Life Day.

I thought about Katie being sad when she wasn't the tallest female in the room, so I decided to do something about it.

I'm making her a step stool, like I did for Deej and me on Val'enteen's Day.

Hers will have to be considerably larger, if she is to stand above the Nautolan clones, but that should be easy enough.

Anything to make my girl happy :)

The countdown to Deej's return is almost over!

I think she's going to be very happy when she arrives.

Mostly because she gets to hang out with me, obviously.

But I think she's going to like the clones, too. If her love of Captain Phasma is any indication, she is going to be stoked about being surrounded by giant, buff women lol

Told AR-T13 about the postcard Deej sent.

I didn't think they would find it as funny as I did; I was just genuinely curious about how they were gonna make armor for Ithorians.

AR-T13 didn't seem interested in talking about armor design, though. They seemed more baffled by the fact that Deej and I were exchanging postcards. They were like, "Why would you use a method of communication that could take weeks to arrive when you could just speak with each other over your comm channels?"

Um, we do. Like, almost every day. Instant gratification can be great! But like I said before, sometimes a guy just needs something to look forward to.

Also, it's nice to support the Galactic Postal Service. They do good work.

Mitaka's musical opens tomorrow.

I'm pretty nervous since some of my students are coming to support me. I gotta do really well so they think I'm ~*cool*~.

Deej is coming to watch, too, but I think she'll love me either way.

I just hope I don't disappoint Mitaka. He's a good coworker and a great friend, but he can be a scary director if you don't put in the work.
