The Piano Étude by @devin_garza is written to be played at 3 inches with tenuto “accents.” Devin's tips: There are Lots of pressure changes in this piece that are going to make you want to go up to get the bounces. Hint: go down instead of up. Since you can’t play higher, you have to play lower. Focusing more of your sound to go “through” the drum is a way of going more down into the head.
