★ “ Hm.. tempting, tempting~ ” Joseph hummed, a smirk widening while waggling his finger in small circles. It had been a wonderful day spent over the sandy terrain and bright azure sky lined with puffy, white clouds, but of course how could he stop himself from going over just to pester the blonde with a childish little game? “ I have to admit it does look ravishing on you but do you know my favorite part? ”

Would it come as any surprise what antics the impish male often got up to? A waggle of his brows went unseen by the other woman’s eyes, a tittering set of giggles bubbling up as one single vine snaked it’s way to lightly smack itself over Genevieve’s flank. A broad grin stretched over the brunet’s face, struggling to hold his composure before crooning playfully as his Stand recalled itself quick as lightning.

Her face fell as he began to disintegrate, time slowing to a halt as she ran to catch her fallen brother. "No.. No, no no..." She whispered, crumpling to her knees as she held Dio, watching helplessly as he turned to dust. "Dio, no... Fuck-- Fuck!"

giorno, a name like that felt like a curse. one that bears down on fugo’s shoulders enough to send him 50 feet into the earth. he had been tuning down the noise of the café as he read, but he could hear that name from miles alway. fugo pushed both ends of his book closed and gripped the spine till his knuckles turned white. his head turned ever so slightly to catch where the name came from. it’s been months since passione, but fugo wasn’t going to take this as a way of redeeming himself, he still didn’t even know if that giorno was his giorno. he would do this one last thing, and then leave for good.  “excuse me..” fugo had his book reached out to draw her attention, he wasn’t sure if he was hopeful or not. “did you say giorno?”

In the silence of the night, a certain hit-man snuck onto a touring train traveling along the beautiful Italian countryside towards the city. His for now breathing target is a passenger on here. It’s not that he’s having a difficult time finding his prey, but that he doesn’t want to reveal his identity to a soul on here. The superior technique of sending his Stand, Baby Face, to preform the deed is highly sufficient. No blood on his hands nor a trace left behind!

The only issue with having an ability like the purple-haired man has is that it requires a SUBJECT. The assassin needs an individual that has the characteristics that fits the situation. Ah, what a pain in the ass! He NEEDS the death to occur before those boarded notice Melone doesn’t have a ticket, or for someone to miss the man his Boss requests dead.

Time is ticking.

So, he settled on the first person he saw: a lone woman sitting at the dining area. By the looks of it, he can tell some of the genes she inherited from her parents are recessive. What are her health records? Blood-type? Personality? These mattered when crafting Baby Face! Of course, the time-restraint isn’t helping. He’ll have to push aside the perfectionist in him and use her.

Genevieve stared at him for a moment before sighing and nodding gently. “Very well. I’ll take your word for it, amour.”

★ “ ... You’re.. taking my word on it? Not trying to correct me, or insist it’s somehow my fault regardless..? ” Well.. then..? Silence overtook his pondering bafflement, having been expecting some word to say he was in the wrong yet there he stood; speechless and vexed over how easy Gen was willing to believe him. It was almost alien to simply have not a single accusation point at him for the smallest of things.
