james   simply   stares   at   her,   sporting   a   look   of   indifference   on   his   face.   he   pushes   past   her,   setting   his   gun   down   on   the   table   behind   her.   silence   fills   the   air   for   many,   many   moments,   he's   not   uncomfortable,   but   he   quite   literally   doesn't   know   what   to   say   to   her.   “you   should   just   be   grateful   i   didn't   take   that   shot,   pipsqueak.”
