anyone else ever think about how outside of the lion cub quartet, a lot of lesser nobles probably only wanted to get to know or befriend felix growing up because he’s the duke’s son? because i honestly believe that with his generally jaded attitude aside, his go-to response with most people is “what do you want?” because he grew up with just...people wanting shit from him because of his family status??????? like man, by the time he gets to the academy he’s just so tired of the two faced, greedy bullshit and he just assumes people still want things from him as a natural response to anyone being nice to him let alone just SPEAKING to him...
