For reals tho the amount of balls dropped in Greymoor and Markarth for vampire characters is insane. You create a year long adventure themed around vampires. You entirely revamp (ha) the vampire system in game, changing how the skills, ult, and stage progression works as well as the animations for feeding. You include a Redguard vampire as the central antagonist and let him keep his dark skin tone. And then you not only fail to fix the issues with vampirism Still white-washing every single player vampire (making player Redguard vampires look white), but you write the dlc as if the player would neeeeeever BE a vampire themselves!

I can think of 2 instances in greymoor where your vampirism is even acknowledged, but Fennorian regularly sends you to do stuff that he cant do because of his vampirism (talk to townspeople, touch Arkays sacred oil, etc), and Lyris takes no issue with a total stranger stage 4 vampire walking up to her at the start and saying her ally is dead. No suspicions as to who killed him, just team up with me, mysteriously bloody stranger.

And Markarth is no better. Verandis hasnt had any dialogue indicating he is aware that I too am a vampire. Arana takes no issue with me that she apparently did have with Verandis at the start. It's even worse that she does have dialogue at one point when talking about a ritual where we invoke Hircine for if you've done the March of Sacrifices dungeon, but not??? If you are a vampire????? IN THE FINAL DLC OF THE VAMPIRE THEMED YEAR LONG ADVENTURE AKJFKAKGKAK ZOS WHAT ARE YOU *DOING*

So the Q4 DLC will be called Markarth, which confirms that we are headed into the Reach for the finale of DHoS, and we’ll be see a preview for the DLC on the 19th.

I'm just saying that if Meridia is helping the Grey Host to spite Bal and then turns on them once they're no longer useful to her, I'd much rather see Rada al-Saran becoming an ally to the Vestige rather than just being killed off to make way for 'the real villain'...

debating if Greymoor and Elsweyr actually happen concurrently or at least roughly around the same time, with Niraen taking on the Dragons in Elsweyr and Venaya taking on the Icereach Coven and Vampires in Skyrim; it gives Venaya a more central, leading role following her betrayal in Summerset and shaves some years off of Fennorian’s time with House Ravenwatch to better fit his still being young and new to being a vampire... Not quite enough (I could cut it down to 12 years at the absolute max), but at this point I’m almost certain that ZOS is trying to complicate my timeline on purpose.

It will mean that Niraen would be taking the year off, but Venaya could use some more attention tbh. After Summerset, she’s dying to redeem herself even after helping to stop Namira and then stopping Josajeh, so giving her a chance to lead an adventure by herself as opposed to sharing with Niraen would be a good chance.

I’m gonna have to sit down and write out my entire ESO timeline just to get it all straight in my head...
