she's polite enough to wait until most of the blue lock players are training or in their rooms, sleeping, or whatever before cracking her snacks out in the cafeteria. her new favourite thing has been store-bought ramen that can be made in minutes. it's nearing bedtime so the cafeteria is relatively empty as petra sneaks her way in, the small ramen bowl tucked up her hoodie as she sneaks over the fill it up, preparing it quietly. she even sneakily adds the cheese and melts it, and boy... it looks great. only when she turns to take it back to her table does she spot @diaboelic sitting there tiredly, seemingly waiting on her. " oh... nagi-kun... what a surprise... " it wasn't really, but now he's going to steal some of her food!

earlier that morning suma had mentioned that the flowers she had picked a few days prior were wilting and that she was sad, so makio had taken it upon herself to spend the free time she had after dinner to find her some more. now, makio was by no means a tender soul, her eye wasn't as good as suma or hina's when it came to flower picking, but she wasn't horrible by any means. she has to pay extra attention to detail, which was definitely the reason why tengen had managed to sneak up on her.

apparently, he had returned home early from his mission.

she could blame it on the fact the sun was setting and already casting weird shadows, but that wasn't the case at all. fingers brush over one flower, not too keen on it before reaching for another, only to freeze when she sees fingers wrapped around the stem, and that it is no longer connected to the earth. she, however, knows those fingers anywhere and grins as she cranes her head back while moving to stand upright, seeing her husband standing there with his own little smile.

❝ you're home early! ❞ the dual-haired woman exclaims happily, easily jumping up and into the man's arms, legs wrapping around his torso as he moves to hold her up. sadly, the flowers she had picked were dropped in the process, long forgotten. ❝ you're like - a week early. did you miss me that much, tengen-sama? ❞

amusement laces her tone as she speaks with a certain smugness, however, it dies easily when his face falls to her neck, and the tip of his nose is felt nuzzling into the dip of her neck. early or not, he must have been tired. and seemed to have definitely missed her. one hand glides up his muscular back and reaches up to his hair, fingers curling around the hair tie that keeps his small ponytail up, and she gently tugs it out to free his beautiful, snow-white hair. ❝ i missed you too. ❞ the words are spoken much softer than the last, and her free hand moves to rub soothing circles into his bicep.

yuji says he's on their side now, but reina is still a little hesitant to interact with @diaboelic, but now she's quite literally forced to as they're paired together to watch over the school grounds while the rest of the remaining sorcerers rest and compose a plan to move forward. awkwardly, reina shifts between her feet, side glancing towards choso now and again before finally parting her lips to speak. " your hair is pretty cool styled like that... "

most of the time it was like supervising energetic, grumpy toddlers. some arguments broke out with different teams, but it was rare for actual fights to break out. and god forbid one did, right? because the only person around to supervise ( and not even every match, ) was petra. and she was just a girl. to the boys around her at least, no one knew petra's past, not even her boyfriend. talking about her dead mother or father that still remained in a coma was too grim, these boys needed their spirits constantly uplifted.

however, today an argument had broken out between two team members and petra had been around to witness it. mostly because nagi was on the enemy team and she liked watching him play. but when work calls, it calls, so the brunette potters over to try and defuse the situation, but her soft and gentle words go on deaf ears as a punch is thrown, then petra is pushed out of the way to avoid being collateral.

the minute an actual fight breaks out ego is heard over speakers, but petra is much quicker on her feet. ❝ i said - ❞ the girl exclaims, grabbing one of the boys by the scruff and successfully yanking him back with surprising strength, only to take his legs from him and put him right on his back. ❝ no fighting! ❞

silence falls around them, and the fighting stops now the one who started it is pinned under the brunette, staring up at her in complete and total shock. of course, none of them expected petra to be able to fight, never mind have the strength to fight with boys. she has rehabilitation and callisthenics to thank for that.

when things look all good she raises back to her feet with a soft puff of air, dusting herself off as the two teams come together in a crowd to watch. she offers her hand to the member still on the ground and helps him back to his feet. not a moment later she hears nagi speak, and her cheeks flush a bright pink at his words.

his girl! he said she was his girl!

her heart erupts as she can't contain the giddiness and begins to grin, looking around the boys quite chuffed with herself. ❝ i'm his girl. ❞

@diaboelic: prompt: gojo warping into utahime's apartment unannounced

it's well into the evening, way after school hours, and the nightlife outside her apartment is busy while she resides in her home. while she could have been out drinking with shoko or being social, utahime had needed a night in, a night to herself, a night to treat herself. it had started with takeaway food, which she rammed down her throat without a second thought, but she still saved some for leftovers. it then led her to a nice soak in her bath, then a quick shower to wash her hair -- now it was skincare. she had to keep the skin around her scar nice and moisturised otherwise it would pull like elastic, which wasn't a nice feeling.

it's only her in her apartment, naturally, as she stands bare in front of her mirror, nothing on aside from a towel wrap to keep her wet hair up and out of her face. perhaps she should have rushed this part, she should have known better. but, then again, this was her apartment, and the door was locked. so when that strange breeze tickles her body, despite all the windows and doors being closed, and she turns in confusion to see none other than gojō, her thoughts immediately become scrambled. she's standing before him completely and utterly bare, aside from some dots of white cream she'd applied to her face, ready to rub into her skin. but now that was long forgotten. ❝ gojō-! you idiot, what the hell are you-! ❞ the words rip from her mouth in a panic as she turns and frantically moves to find her robe, which conveniently happens to be sitting right beside him, propped over a chair he stands next to. when she realises this her eyes narrow and she moves her hands to cover herself, not before picking up one of her jars of moisturiser and launching it directly at his head.

of course, however, it bounces off thin air before it can so much as graze his perfect, porcelain skin.

in all of her frantic moving around to find coverage her towel had become undone slightly, and just as she goes to speak, it undoes itself completely and falls to her feet, leaving her hair to fall around her, damp and now tangled. the woman almost resembles a human-like curse. moments pass in silence before she whips her hair back, glaring daggers at the smug man standing before her. ❝ just give me that damn robe before i set you on fire. ❞

lowering her sword, mitsuri exhales the breath she's been holding for the last minute in an awkward wheeze, immediately gasping for breath a second later. her body, which has grown tired, stiff, sore, and incredibly sweaty due to her training session with the water hashira, flops to the ground like jello. the soft grass cushions her fall, her sword held lifelessly in one of her hands as she stares up into the evening sky. not quite dark enough to perceive stars, not too light to see the sun given their location. a beautiful night nonetheless.

❝  thank goodness you said something - i thought i was going to pass out. your stamina is impressive, tomioka-san!  ❞ rising into a sitting position, rosette lips pull into a smile when she sees that her sparring partner has taken a seat too, with crossed legs. with newfound energy, mitsuri springs to her feet and quickly sheaths her sword, setting it down on the ground before gesturing to a wicker basket she had brought along with her. ❝  oh! oh, now is the perfect time to have some snacks! i made some sweets.  ❞

the poor boy doesn't get the chance to agree or decline, for mitsuri snags the basket from under a tree, secure and safe away from their intense session moments ago, and brings it over. when she sits down once again she's much closer to him, sat with only a small space in between them. she likes closeness and often forgets others don't so much. ❝  i made some homemade lemonade, i find that much more refreshing than tea. especially when the days are hot and humid, don't you agree?  ❞ with a happy little grin spread across her face, mitsuri empties out the contents of the basket, setting everything up nice and neat for herself and giyū. there's an array of cakes, biscuits, and pastries. some sweets, like dango, and a jug of lemonade she had made that morning. without a word, she begins to pour him a glass. ❝  training with you is quite fun! i love the water breathing techniques. they're all very... soothing.  ❞
