What you see are re occurring, non specific marks appearing in the printing process of this plate. There are three examples above. I’ve adjusted the direction of the plate in relation to the press bed, i.e. having the plate enter horizontally or vertically, depending on the sketched notes on the photos, and decreased the pressure but the marks keep appearing. If you have any thoughts on whats causing them please drop me a note.
The plate is an ImagOn photo polymer plate, printed with Akua carbon black ink onto Hahnemuhle Copper Plate. The paper is quickly dipped in water and the blotted till an even dampness.
