Task 1 – Shimmy Hardoteer – The Basics

What is your characters full name?

Seriozhenka Shimmy Joseph Hardoteer.

Do they have any nicknames? If so, where do they come from?

Shimmy. Named for his father before him, Seriozhenka couldn’t pronounce his own name, but his mother affectionately called him Shimmy when he was little – he never could be still – and it stuck; so much so, that he legally had it added to his name, so he could call himself Shimmy.

What is your characters date of birth?

14th of July, 1942.

What is your characters nationality?

Born of a British mother to a Russian father, Shimmy considers himself British, if pressed. First instinct is to say Scottish.

What is your characters height?

6’3”.

What is your characters weight?

185lbs.

What are your characters most prominent physical features?

 His limp, and his rather intense gaze. Not quite a glare, but an intently studying look.

Does your character have any tattoos?

None.

Does your character have any piercings?

None.

Does your character have any birthmarks?

None.

Does your character have any disfigurements?

Aforementioned limp.

Does your character have any scars?

Yes. Three almost identical ones on his ribcage, and a large starburst scar on his hip, same side.

Does your character have an accent, if so what is it? 

A rather thick, Scottish Midlands brogue. It’s mellowed, with age and distance, but sometimes it still twangs through.

Task 1 – Amycus Carrow – The Basics

What is your character’s full name?

Amycus Phineas Carrow, the third to carry the name Amycus Carrow.

Do they have any nicknames? If so, where do they come from?

Mike. He doesn’t like it, as a general rule, because his housemates, his sister and his parents used it more as a way to insult him than as an affectionate thing.

What is your characters date of birth?

21st of May, 1952.

What is your characters nationality?

British.

What is your characters height?

5’10”.

What is your characters weight?

200lbs, maybe a little more.

What are your characters most prominent physical features? 

Piercing blue eyes. Muscled, when seen out of robes.

Does your character have any tattoos?

Yes, the Dark Mark. Also a small hyacinth on his hip, but that is not something anyone but him knows of.

Does your character have any piercings?

None.

Does your character have any birthmarks?

Moles, forming a distinct pattern along the right side of his ribcage. If closely examined, they form the constellation of Taurus.

Does your character have any disfigurements?

No.

Does your character have any scars?

Thin scars from his left hip down to the same knee; formed from a fire whip. One bisecting his right eyebrow, going up to his hairline; long since faded, caused by a tree in his childhood.

Does your character have an accent, if so what is it? 

The Carrow Homestead is right outside Birmingham, and despite his parents best efforts to the opposite, Amycus has a rather distinct Brummie accent, and talks a bit like a country bumpkin.

Do they have any nicknames? If so, where do they come from? Most people call her Andy, which is a childhood nickname. Ted calls her Dromeda, as well as various petnames.

What is your characters date of birth? Andromeda's date of birth is April 7th, 1954.

What is your characters nationality? Andromeda is British by birth, born in Surrey.

What is your characters height? 5'7"

What is your characters weight? Approximately 130 lbs.

What are your characters most prominent physical features? Andromeda bears a striking resemblance to her older sister Bellatrix. She however believes they aren't that similar. Her eyes are a prominent feature.

Does your character have any tattoos? No.

Does your character have any piercings? Her ears are pierced.

Does your character have any birthmarks? She has a star shaped birthmark on her right hip.

Does your character have any disfigurements? No.

Does your character have any scars? One on her left knee from falling out of a tree at age seven. A few are from the lashings she received the first time she associated with a muggle.

Does your character have an accent, if so what is it? She has a defined British accent, though it sounds perfectly normal to her.
