Popcorn anyone? - Flynn. Most assuredly Flynn.
There was nothing else you could have done. - Flynn, to Denise.
In a way, I guess he was a victim too.- Lucy, probably talking about this week’s sleeper agent
The next time I saw her, she was dead. - Initially, I thought this might be Wyatt, but given that the sleeper’s story is supposed to parallel something that’s going on in the present, I think this might be Owen, the sleeper agent, talking to Wyatt and Rufus.
I trust the team. - Mama Bear Denise Christopher, always and forever.
We’re problem solvers. We don’t just give up. - Jiya
We promise. It’s totally not bogus. - Also Jiya, the 80s nerd.
Going up? - This is probably John Hinckley, Jr.; there are stills of him in his hotel room, so presumably someone catches up with him after the attempted shooting.
I like to live on the edge. - This sounds like Wyatt in his “pulling a Chuck Norris” moment
If we can change the past, there has to be a way that we can change the future. - Flynn. I’m guessing this comes out of the discussion re: the journal.
Great. A mustache in a haystack. - Rufus.
That’s not an option for me. - Young Mama Bear (I had an epiphany about this as I was typing it, y’all)
So we just let it happen? - Going with Jiya on this one, since it’s her first mission.
I’m Cagney, this is Lacey. - Jiya again. Something tells me Lucy wouldn’t have been quite as up on her early 80s female-driven cop shows. (Side note: my mother LOVED Cagney and Lacey.)
On the plus side, I wouldn’t have been arrested. - I’m leaning towards Flynn, and that this also comes out of his conversation with Lucy about the journal. I do so hope that we find out where the hell the damn thing has been all this time since Lucy was kidnapped.
It’s time for you to stop risking your life for this job. - I’ve gone back and forth on this one as well, but I’m thinking it’s Young Denise’s fiance (note the spelling) to Young Denise.
If we get there in time to save our friend, then we’ll worry about what to do with you. - Chalk up one more for Wyatt, to Owen the sleeper agent.
