Timeless favorites [10/?] ⤷ 1.06 — “The Watergate Tape” (1972)
I realized Timeless has the same character dynamics as the Star Wars sequel trilogy (probably why I love it so much), and I can't stop finding similarities. A short list below of my initial findings:
Rey/Lucy Preston-Pure of heart female lead who has a dark mystery wrapped up in her family origins that she overcomes
Finn/Rufus Carlin-Slighty Anxious guy who never wanted to be thrust into greatness but is, he even for a time works for the bad guys even though he doesn't want to
Poe Dameron/ Wyatt Logan-Handome soldier with a troubled past that involves smuggling and has a tendency to not follow orders
Kylo Ren/Garcia Flynn-Gorgeous and conflicted villian who has a soft spot for the female lead
***⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️***
he even goes through a redemption arc before a tragic end
Leia Organa/Agent Denise Christopher - Team "Mom" who is strongly connected to the government and is a bad A**
Rose Tico/Jiya-Adorable and strong female engineer who gets romantically involved with the slightly anxious guy
Lando Calrissian/Connor Mason-Smarmy money bag "uncle" who has you questioning his motivations (I mean Connor even uses Lando as an alias)

It’s been a long time right ?
Even though we all know that Timeless might never comeback (which is a shame because it was such a good show but well, maybe we’ll get a movie one day who knows!), I think it could be nice for the fans of the show to keep in touch and be able to discuss about it!
That’s why we are thinking of creating a Discord server (the orignal idea comes from Miss @incorrect-timeless-quotes) 😊 If anyone is interested, do not hesitate to dm us, comment or repost… It could so fun !!

The prompts will open on May 30th on AO3. We suggest you check out the prompts and claim the one(s) you're interested in HERE.
General Rules:
All works must be original to the fest
No crossovers

Written entries must be at least 300 words
Art submissions do not need a description but are always welcome
One-shots, two-shots, and multi chapters are acceptable
NO WIPs
Works will be revealed on September 1st. After your work is revealed feel free to link any social media
How do we do this?
Firstly, you will need to have an AO3 account. Please check out the prompts here.
When you know what prompt you want, click the "claim" button on that prompt.
Get creating!
Participants are encouraged to claim more than one prompt and create multiple works for the fest. However, it is strongly advised to finish one before you claim more.😘

What content can I create?
Fanfic of at least 300 words, Art, Moodboards, Socmeds, Fanvids, etc.
Is there a sign up form?
No forms. You only need to claim a prompt on AO3 to participate (and you do not need to sign up to the AO3 collection either).
Is there a check in?
We will post reminders on Tumblr and Twitter, but there will be no check in on the progress. We look forward to see what you all create!
Will there be a Timeless Secret Santa Exchange later this year?
We're attempting a different approach this year and doing this Fest instead. However, if you feel inspired to create something Christmassy by the end of the year, you're welcome to join the fest at a later date and use the prompts. We even have a couple that might work for a holiday theme.🤪
