In another area, there’s Kiku and Roderich in the servants quarters, working together on taking inventory
When you talk to Kiku, he asks if you’re feeling any better, in which Canada is like yea I’m doing better. Kiku says to take it easy, he heard from Ludwig what had happened and it must have been extremely stressful
When you talk to Roderich, he brings up that he’s taking inventory with Kiku of all the new supplies from the various caravans. Never had he thought he would be happy to take inventory again, it’s almost nostalgic. Apparently before he went with Elizabeta to be jack, he was the quartermaster of Hearts palace, and with Eduard gone he’s stepping in to fill in his shoes while they find a new one. Not that he minds.
When you talk to Roderich again, he mentions that Kiku is also helping with a life long dream of updating this palace now that they’re doing repairs and renovations. First order of business? Indoor plumbing. Canada is like oh my god yes please

(In straight-up Diamantalia? There was actually an event on this blog from some time ago where that very thing actually happened! The art from it is now super outdated and old, but:
To this day, I’m still pretty proud of some of these shots, even if the lineart is super amateurish. Professor Bazarov, Mr. Ten of Spades here, wasn’t super popular though, so he never made a reappearance on this blog. He does make an appearance in Diamantalia, but I can assure you, you’re not going to like it very much.
It’s always the educated that go first.)
Now for a sillygoofy question, and anyone who wants to answer it can answer it! If you could swap the official color of your kingdom to ANY other color, what color would you pick?
Red or Orange, because, well, it seems warm. But both of those are taken, for good reason so.... mm.
