You actually can. At least the thoughts you have regarding your trauma. When you see yourself starting to feel a certain way you have the choice to continue feeling that way that makes you unhappy or you can accept it and in doing so let it go. Which frees up your mind to other things. Does that make sense?

okay, no more shaving for you for a month or maybe two. depends on how fast you can grow facial hair but yeah. let's see you grow a beard, lover boy.

         Rose could not quite recall the last time he had grown a beard. Probably because it had never happened before. Even though facial hair was a sign of masculinity, the blond had never had much luck achieving one. He was visibly bemused by his lover’s request/demand.
