Hey just wanted to say thank you for sharing your tarot journey with us. Because of you, my interest in the subject has sparked and I am now the proud owner of a tarot deck and an oracle deck and I couldn't be happier. Each day I learn something new about myself and about the craft. I feel like I've discovered a new part of myself and I've finally found something that suites me. So once again thank you, obviously you didn't start out to inspire others but you have 🙏🏾💜

Do you actually dabble in the occult or is it just something that interests you? I know you practice tarot readings and you've got an alter but is that it and if you are dabbling how did you start? Idk, it's something I've always been interested in, I'm a spiritual person but plain old Christianity/Catholicism never felt right and lately I've been trying connect with the energies around me I'm even planning to set up my own alter but idk where to go after that.

I read a lot about the occult (I like older/primary sources best and academic texts because I find a lot of modern occultists lack the amount of rigour I feel is necessary, also like collected folk magic material interests me)

Hey, saw your post about practice tarot readings. If I may volunteer, is it possible to get a general reading about life right now?

Nine of cups reversed, suggests material dissatisfaction, discomfort in your current material circumstances.

The knight of pentacles is the next card and means that you’re trying to change it with plodding consistency but interacting with the next card (the eight of swords) suggests to me you’re feeling sort of... stuck, unable to move forward, and maybe in some way not seeing the forest for the trees.

The next card is strength reversed which to me suggests that you’re feeling unsure of yourself, something has made you question the direction you’re taking with things.  The next card is the Emporer which says to me you need to regain your confidence, take back authority and after that the five of swords reversed, which means that you’ll need to let go of what happened in the past and be open to changing strategies (but in an authoritative, sure of yourself way)

I could be interpreting this entirely wrong, heh, so tell me if I hit on any of this or if I proceeded from erroneous assumptions
