some of these are smaller than some NWSL venues. x__x? I guess they’re not having to worry about US supporters being able to drive over the border, but still. Europe is so small, and there’s great teams from there who will be playing??

Yeah I don’t get it either :/ The France WNT has been playing in front of full crowds for the past couple of years so there’s no reason to think we wouldn’t fill bigger stadiums, even without the american crowd. Not even having one of the big Paris stadiums is baffling. One of the semis will be in a stadium that doesn’t even host 30 000 people, smh.

Yah but wouldn’t you have seen the US sucking tho? I don’t remember that being a great time for them :P (although i guess if it’s your team beating them that’d still be cool lol)

Haha I don’t have issues with seeing the US getting their ass kicked if it’s by France. And that wouldn’t have stopped me from fangirling about some of their players either :p

Nah no chance. The only reason they played that friendly here is because we play on turf and they were preparing for the WC.

I certainly hope USWNT plays France in France again at some point tho, cause they need to play against quality teams, and France is one of the best soooo… *soon*?

But I could have seen Ali (and Ashlyn !) play. In my hometown stadium ! That would have been cool and I am a bitter person
