The door is composed of 585 diapositives (transparent film slides) of Pantone color swatches. These slides are laminated between glass panels and set within a wooden frame.
Each swatch includes handwritten notes that compare the specific Pantone color to the surrounding environment, such as "faded rose" or "daffodil".
