I've been having fun with Just Dance again but not by actually playing it but by dancing to it on YT where I don't have to deal with the exceedingly weird motion recognition (imo) and get autoplayed maps that are actually all fun to dance to because they're all-time favourites of the community. Ooooops, sorry Ubisoft 👀💧
Not feeling super like drawing today, so I'm revisting my likes across different platforms and throwing them on a Pureref board, categorizing them and writing a few notes on what I like about the works... and I can highly recommend this! It's low effort and chill but still a more active kind of consumption.
Currently trying to figure out some direction and focus for my art: I really like campy, colorful stuff but also cosmic horror/mythology and I have a soft spot for coming of age stories.
I don't know how these all go together but I really want to commit to my comic this year and start finding out. :| It doesn't have a title yet but I've been calling it "magic treehouse comic" in my head.
This is a bit of an accountability post for myself because I feel so awkward about my own stuff and keep procrastinating.🤦♀️ But this is the year!!
