Y'all isn't it crazy how Nefera only went to school for one year?????

Like, cause the 2017 Ghoulia-Cleo diary story about how Ghoulia freed the de Nile family probably takes place just before the start of the first year at Monster High. Like Nefera was freed from her tomb after 5000+ years n just attended the last year of high school n called it a day😭 (*)

(*) reminder that according to Clawdia she also cheated through most of it w amulets, so she didn't even get the full experience

But like you can tell she's low-key immature because of it, since in her modelling career she insulted that omni-monster group of models (getting her fired lololol) which like, literally no one who attended MH long term would have done!!!!

She kinda gives peaked in highschool (which is probably why she keeps hanging around her sister n her high schoolers friends) but low-key she literally hasn't done anything with her unlife despite that one year of MH 😭 like it kinda gives subconscious regression how she keeps going back there.... The ghoul seems a little overwhelmed by the modern monster world (which on a side note, can we talk about how out-of-touch the de Niles might have felt with their monstrousness? Like they used to be human after all n the only monster they encounter prior being freed *2 YEARS BEFORE CANON* was Amanita omg😭)

like not only MODERN stuff gives them a culture shock but also MONSTER stuff too!?!?!??

Hey! Anon on @.snatchersdiary! I've got answers even if Snatcher himself doesn't!

The contract magic Snatcher uses is exclusive to him. He made it in a panic and he doesn't remember exactly how. But here's how the contracts work:

The binding magic itself is stored in the seal, and both parties (the contractor and subcontractor) have to either

be oblivious to what situations contracts are legally binding (Hat Kid and Bow Kid are prime examples)

know that it legally binds them, as they are of proper age

The paper itself can leave the contractor's (Snatcher's) possession, but cannot be destroyed in any way. If you personally tried to destroy a contract you had signed, it would shock you to near-death. It doesn't tear easily, even if it's on just plain old paper.

did king absorb everyone or use contracts to force them into teaching him how to use their magic.

He absorbed Moon and Vanessa, as well as the time pieces. He also stole Vanessa's magic study books, so he's just going it alone, really. He's got a lot of dangerous magic combinations inside him and no temper to hold it, despite the calm demeanor he keeps.
