Your hand was trembling as you picked it up.
“T-Tony, I don’t think I can.”
“Of course, you can, sweetheart. I’ll be here the whole time.”
God, there was so much blood everywhere.
You filled the syringe with the strange liquid Tony was guiding you to prepare. It glowed a strange blue-white light and it almost pulsed within the syringe.
“There you go. Now all you need to do is inject it into my neck. It’s not that bad.”
Your heart is nearly racing out of control. “I can’t, I can’t.” Blood, so much blood everywhere.
“Sweetheart, there isn’t much time. I’ve lost a lot of blood and I’ll lose consciousness soon if you don’t do this.”
You press the needle to his neck, tears racing down. You can’t seem to press it down. It was huge. It looked like you were stapping him with a metal straw.
You press down hard, and your boyfriend screams out a terrible scream of pain. You shrink, scared as all the liquid drains into his body.
And suddenly, he’s silent and limp, and you almost pass out from nerves. Did you accidentally kill him? Did you inject him wrong?
Then his veins fill with the same blue-white light, and his body begins to twitch. Its horribe to watch, and he finally lets out a pained groan.
His eyes open. “Hey, I’m okay. The nanobots did their thing.”
You smack his chest lightly, gripping him to you. “Don’t ever make me do something like that ever again!”
He holds you to him, hugging quietly. “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.”
You hold tight, and you both stay like that in the pouring rain until help finds you.
