  If you’ve lived in Texas too long, you understand the weather is so wildly unpredictable! I mean, it could be snowy one day and 80 degrees the next. It’s weird! But it’s not just the weather that is so unpredictable, it’s the seasons as well. Sometimes, we have summer for too long. For example, it was 90 degrees this October. It hurts too much to give up... something you've always had. And yet they've already let go. Like I was never there and what we have are just memories. That moment where you feel utterly replaceable, when the next best thing comes along. I cannot understand why, despite everything, I surrender my sanity just to hold on a bit longer.  

Caught up by the sadness, tired of the disappointment the human species brings.
