i bejeweled him to cover up some minor scuffs but i got this guy for the nice price of 70 bucks!

i was scrolling through ebay and came across these guys. i really wish that sellers would understand condition and rarity matter. These are not extremely rare furbies and they are in, for lack of better words, horrible condition.

you wouldn’t buy a house if the ceiling was falling in, it had awful plumbing..

unless the price was low.

these, are fixer upper furbies, not collectibles. Unless a seller fixes up a furby themselves (ie, skinning and cleaning etc) there’s no reason for these clearly decrepit gremlins to be price gauged at the wazoo, most sellers just use whatever the first google result says and stick with it, thinking “ah yes, this yellow (originally white) furby must be worth this much because blah blah” and are too stubborn to jump of their high horse

these furbies could be beautiful art- or cleaned up for a beloved collection- if they were cheaper. (like i get it everyone makes their bank but these are fixer uppers and future art projects, not “vintage” or collectors.)

sorry for the rant i just really wanna customize more furbs cause i think it’s really fun & makes them so unique, but i can hardly ever justify it cause like “oh i don’t wanna pay x amount of money for a broken furby just to paint on it. I’ll wait till I can snag a deal…”
