worst thing is its a sp.amtonification/divorce arc lololol
so like anne and king worked together for a little while hosting like a variety radio show with singing n quizzes, but king wanted to be bigger so he charmed his way into a deal with the devil to host his own show that harvests souls, leaving anne in the dust
but then he loses the show ofc and then maybe some kinda way auntie is tangled into the cup's mess with the devil and king helps her get out of it, but she has some choice words for him before its a happy reunion

like oml yall really encouraging this and its so making me wanna explore king and anne's relationship more, this is like the quickest a new ship of mine has grown in popularity, a friend in a server even wrote angst for it (linked in the doc!)

Ok so first of all I love your dice kettle ship! Second of all, if they were to get back together and that’s a pretty big IF. How would the Elder Kettle, CH, MM react to it??? (I feel like Cuphead would be ecstatic and start calling King dice Uncle dice. And King Dice would constantly ask him to stop but to no avail. And thus would have to put up and deal with Cuphead and Mugman’s antics. And maybe Anne would force him to watch over them as sort of an act of revenge since she knows how much of a handful they can be. And she’s like “if they end up getting hurt and it’s somehow your fault, I’m gonna kill you with my bear hands!”)
ah thank you!! and yeah, they will get back together, the only concern is how long that'd take for them, probably would be a little while with more heartfelt apologies and being on friendlier terms
elder kettle i think would encourage them getting together to see his daughter happy, though king is definitely on thin ice for hurting anne the first time, like the classic "break her heart and i'll break your knees" kinda attitude
and oh yes i agree the cup kids would absolutely love having king around, mugsy being a little more wary ofc, and she'd definitely have him babysit one time as revenge but also as a way to see if she still trusts him and it just ends up with kd trying his best to wrangle these kiddos in to avoid shenanigans sdkfjsfsd
