we moved on too quickly from the possibility of WALLY WEST x reader x DICK GRAYSON. wally’s phasing out of the game, and dick’s been promoted to lead. you’ve been added to the roster and neither of them seem to keep their heads around you: wally can’t help but outwardly flirt, that old playboy dog in him seeping through the cracks as he checks you out in your suit n asks, “uh, are you.. doing anything later?”; whereas dick’s bad bag of tricks consist of getting a little tongue-tied around you and gracefully bowing out of conversations that run too long. when they both get used to you being around, interactions are smoother. wally somehow gets you out of the mount, reminding you there’s more to life than work, managing to snag alone-time with you. dick can talk to you without panicking, and you’ve even caught a stray comment here and there about how “you looked good out there.” both boys tipping you off as to how they feel about you. you knew things always seemed to be tense between them when they three of you were in the same room, you didn’t know they were in competition. you’re not sure how to go about it, you like both of them, but neither of them have the guts to be upfront with you about it - or they have an undisclosed gentlemen’s agreement to stay away from you. the latter makes more sense considering their friendship, so why have you had each of their tongues down your throat at least once before?
