this is a comment to you post were you took an indefinite hiatus, I feel like it shouldn't matter how people were responding to your blog, or if they like it. I don't even know if people like my blog because I have 51 followers, but I still keep posting. I just think you had no reason to shut down your blog.

You don’t seem to grasp the concept of this blog. 

It wasn’t a matter if people were liking it per say, it was if people were actively sending messages in to our blog, because that was the whole point of this blogs. We did need people to respond well to this blog, because it was them who was keeping it alive. We can’t/didn’t make up every message that was sent this way, as we do not have the time for that. We needed people to be sending stuff in. We would have one or two people a week sending things in, which was not enough to keep this blog active. 

It takes time and effort to look through our inbox, copy, past and edit the messages (in case of spelling errors or a misspelled url), use photoshop to create each card and then upload, tag and queue each post. 

People didn’t seem interested in our blog anymore, and we had other stuff going on in our lives like school and jobs. If people didn’t seem interested in it, why should we keep begging people to send us messages and get no response? 

We also never said that we shut down because people didn’t like it, we said people we not showing interest in it, yes, we did say that (please go read it). Eventually we had to beg for people to send messages in. Even then, people didn’t. 

So eventually we took a hiatus, so maybe people would show interest again at a later time. 

We know people liked our blog. We liked our blog. Just no one was helping us keep it running. We could have made up 10 messages to people a day, but that was not the point of this blog. It was so that everyone else could send messages to each other. 

Please do not treat our situations like they are the same, because they are absolutely not the same.
