dickerdoodlez replied to your post: Hey, look what I learned to do.
It doesn’t work on mobile and I was really confused for a second, like who doesn’t know how to post?
Pfft hahaha, that would certainly make me look silly XD
But I did this in mobile though! And I can see it there. I wonder why you can’t see it?
Are we allowed to audition for multiple roles?
You can audition for multiple characters and as many times as you need, but we’ll only cast you for one role.

ahh thank you!!
Ahhhh! Thank you so much! I was just thinking this morning how great your blog was and how awesome you are! It made my day to make it onto your follow forever! So thanks! :)
Oh!! Thank you, you're very sweet! And it's no problem! You're really cool!

Girls are great. Like girls are so cute and perfect. *sigh* Girls.
RIGHT?? like seriously how did that take me so long to figure it out. i am so ashamed of myself.
Triforce, I have a problem. I'm a cis pansexual and I need help. I'm trying to write out a story where the main character is a trans man and his companion/possible love interest is a trans woman but it is never explicitly stated that either is such..
.. basically, I need to know how to accurately portray them and hint at their situations while still keeping it underground until it’s time for the reveal through conflict. It’s set in a dystopia landscape and the crux is them trying to find their…
…medications and things. I really just want to make sure I portray them correctly. I really want to do this right. I might even make some sort of twist. I haven’t gotten past the planning stages though. Please help.
I know you’re tired of seeing me here but the reason I don’t want to come pit and say that they’re trans in the first place is because of an article I read saying people relate better and have more positive feelings about certain types of people…
… if the differences between them are introduced later…. I just think this might be a good thing…
Ah, well, considering you can’t know someone is trans just by looking at them, it’s hard to just hint at it. I suppose the best way you could do it is to show them reacting to their dysphoria in some way that isn’t a blatantly obvious I’M TRANS action.
For example, a trans woman friend of mine is almost compulsive about shaving body hair, because she thinks it’s too masculine. In your story, it would be notable because…who really thinks about shaving their legs in a crisis? But it wouldn’t be an obvious calling card, as there are cis women who are very particular about it as well.
But really, at the end of the day, trans people are people. Portraying them accurately is just like portraying any other kind of character accurately - give them a personality, give them interests and thoughts and feelings that stand out, don’t stereotype, and show them giving reasonable reactions to things that happen to them.

Another Sylph of Doom! How do you do? *curtsies*
