I took the coward’s way out. I abandoned my friends so I could save my own ass and because of my selfishness, you three likely lost your lives. Maybe it’s my ego that drove me to this. I would rather go down with dignity, fighting to stay alive instead of being put to sleep like an animal. A lot of shit has happened during the time we’ve spent with each other and I wish I could say those experiences turned me into a better man.
