Meet our makers No.4 Geoff Hi I'm Geoff Baird of @acorn_craft I'm an 86 year old Grandfather. I have worked with timber my entire life, from the very beginning as a child when we had to make our own toys. Being part of Trove since 2016 has been life changing for me, I never thought I would be selling my work. I have seen my work develop and grow, it has even been sold in the National Gallery of Australia. I use reclaimed and recycled Australian native timbers. I love carving and designing my jewellery especially my signature 'Link Necklace'. I saw a wooden chain, in the Beechworth Museum when I was young. I set about trying to work out how it was made. As I have travelled further into Grandfartherhood making the jewellery keeps my hands warm and I can't use the big machinery I have in my shed.
