guys i hate my boss, hes lived his entire life never noticing how he interrupts people
i think from now on im just gonna be like "oh, wait wait wait. you interrupted me"
and when he notices i do that like 3-5 times every time he interacts maybe then he'll learn.
i shouldnt have to do this with a fully grown adult but we play the cards we are given. and if it means having to teach a 55 year old basic manners then so be it
Did you know...
... that librarians across the country work together every month to recommend great new reads for you?
It’s true! LibraryReads is a cooperative project of library workers all over the U.S. to share the new titles they are most excited about. It’s simple: volunteers read advance copies of forthcoming books for adults, and nominate the ones they think that their patrons will most enjoy. These nominations are then tallied every month into the LibraryReads booklist, which is distributed free to participating libraries.
Fiction and nonfiction, mystery and science fiction and romance and fantasy, debut authors and proven best sellers, literary classics and young adult “crossovers” – all of these have been featured on the monthly LibraryReads lists. These aren’t meant to be “best books”, or trendy “hot takes”, or cynical marketing gimmicks; they are just good books that real librarians have read and loved and want you to know about too.
So whether you’re looking for something new and different, or are waiting for your favorite author to hurry up and publish the next in the series, take a moment to check out these booklists, available on the square information kiosk in the main foyer of the Rogers Public Library. Or you can go online to libraryreads.org for a complete archive of past lists.
And don’t forget to ask at the Information Desk, or email us at [email protected], for more suggestions on books, movies, and other materials – we LOVE to recommend titles, and you will totally make our day!

#Didyouknow Due to a printing error, there was a word in the English dictionary from 1932 to 1940 which didn’t have a meaning. The word was ‘Dord’ and it became known as ‘ghost word’.
