I like to think that Aziraphale’s idea of “spooky” is to get his cherished list of ghost words out at Halloween. Because it can’t be all about faulty Bibles, right?

Ghost Word

Ghost words appear in dictionary but aren't really used by anyone. Some of them result from straight up typos and mistakes. Dictionaries are obviously our all-powerful, linguistic overlords and thus "once authoritatively published, a ghost word commonly becomes widely copied and takes a long time to be erased from usage (e.g. "morse...); sometimes such a word even comes into permanent usage (e.g. "scapegoat"...)"

In one particularly hilarious incident "It turned out that "kimes" was a misprint for "knives", but the word gained currency for some time"

Also check out the wikionary page for abacot, a word that resulted from a Chinese whispers-esque string of misspellings of 'bycoket'...

Here's a look into a short scene we did for my very first feature film, April and Junip, currently in pre-production.

April and Junip is a story about two teenage girls in a small town who go to the local landfill everyday after school and stumble upon a trunk full of journals written by a girl in the 1980's. Both of the girls are searching for a motherly figure in their lives, so when the journals turn up they look to them for acceptance and guidance. 

We're on our last 11 days of trying to raise a $4,000 budget and we're 47% there!!! We need to raise money to pay for equipment rentals for lights, sounds and all of the other things we'll need like flags, silks and sandbags. 

We are also paying a chunk to shoot on location at a trailer park and not to mention to have an awesome soundtrack featuring some Bay Area bands such as Grasswidow, MANE and Greer McGettrick! Extremely exciting!!

If we make our goal that means we can make our movie with bare bones and move on to show the world what we can do!
