Incident & Investigation Trend Analysis Workshop

The East Region will host an Annual Incident & Investigation Trend Analysis Workshop for providers on Thursday, February 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Michael Dunn Center, located at 629 Gallaher Road, Kingston, TN 37763.  Providers will be able to share trending methodology and several Regional Office Units will be sharing resources available to address identified trends.  Contact Carmel Beatty at [phone] or [email protected] for questions.

Incident Management Follow-up Procedure

The DIDD Provider Manual states that when additional information regarding a reportable incident is needed, DIDD will inform the agency that submitted the report. The agency is required to submit the additional information within one (1) business day of receiving the request.  To help providers comply with this requirement, Incident Management will include a unique reference number in the subject line of any emailed request for additional information.

 ·  Make sure to add the missing information to the original RIF.  Otherwise, the additional information you provide will lack context.

·   When responding, reply to the email you received from Incident Management.  By doing so you ensure the reference number remains in the subject line.

·   Make sure to attach the amended or revised RIF to the email and submit the email to [email protected].
