me, seeing all these got spoilers: wow, not being entirely obsessed with something is fantabulous, bless.

Guest "didn't mean" to book non-refundable stay
I had a non-refundable booking where the guest immediately reached out and asked to cancel. I was a little annoyed but am not interested in having people stay in my home who are upset with me, so I refunded the full amount. No big deal.My question though: when does the Airbnb website make it clear that a guest is actually making/confirming a booking. That is, does the guest have a chance to back out after hitting "book" on the initial listing screen (this is my listing, but if I click on "Book", it just tells I can't book my own listing, so I'm not sure what comes next).I ask because the guest told me, "Very sorry to ask for a cancellation but I was mostly trying to inquire and not book" It seemed like BS as I know regular bookings give you at least one additional screen before your booking is confirmed. It's all pretty transparent in my experience. But if this happens again, I'd like know what the guests are actually seeing before deciding what to do about refunds. Thanks! Um, yeah. I fuck with holiday
