The start of The @crossfitgames Open is a funny thing. It’s obviously the beginning of a 5 week competition. It’s also the end of the style of training I’ve been doing since August, which is basically killing myself every day and going back to training hard the next day. Resting, recovering, peaking and still training must now be balanced more than ever. . There are 5 weeks till the last day of The Open. And then another 3.5 weeks till the Masters Qualifier for The Games. . This is an endurance sport. It demands strategy, planning and the highest levels of self-awareness for 10 months in order to perform for 2 months. . I love and cherish every moment. I love how it pushes me to be my best and then to be even better. . I also hope that my pursuit of my best inspires others to seek their best and to make their new best with their own two hands. .
