"Victor And Valentino" Creator Diego Molano Inks With 20th Century Animation In Animation Film Deal
Mas talento mexicano llega a Disney as legendary mexican animator Diego Molano creator of the beloved Cartoon Network series "Victor and Valentino" is bringing his ideas to 20th Century Animation in exciting new feature animation deal.
According to Linkedin and Pixelatl, Molano inked a overall development deal with Walt Disney Studios third animation feature film unit 20th Century Animation. Under the deal Molano will develop new animated feature films for theaters and Disney's own streaming services (Disney+ and Hulu).
This is not a first time where a animator of the 2010s era of Cartoon Network Studios joins The Walt Disney Company for their next animated venture. Back in December 2020, we saw that the "We Bare Bears" creator Daniel Chong joining Pixar Animation Studios to make "Hoppers" slated for a March 2026 release on theaters.
Back in January 2025, Ian Jones-Quartey the creator of "OK K.O! Let's Be Heroes!" hinted that he was developing a new project with The Walt Disney Company. Additionaly George Gendi creator of "Apple & Onion" has a overall development deal with Disney Television Animation with a new pilot for Disney Channel.
Besides creating "Victor And Valentino", Molano worked in shows like "The Patrick Star Show" at Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Dan Harmon's "Haunted Hotel" at Netflix, "OK K.O, Let's Be Heroes!", "The Powerpuff Girls (2016)" and "Black Dynamite" at Cartoon Network Studios and "SuperJail!" at Adult Swim.
We wish Molano the best of the luck on his projects at 20th Century Animation and hope they get greenlit either as Disney+ exclusive movies or theatrical movies.
