Isabel could feel herself shaking in his arms. Maybe she should have told him sooner... he could have helped more, especially with their parents, but as her bump grew bigger, she found herself in need of buying new clothes... especially new pairs of jeans and maybe some oversized sweaters, but those she could easily steal from Lucas’ room if necessary. She couldn’t tell her parents, she couldn’t ask that of Carly, not when her best friend was already going through so much already, so she decided to tell Lucas that she’d gotten pregnant and ask him to loan her some money for clothes. Vivaan was already in New York, so there wasn’t much he could do... plus, he’d never seemed interested anyway.

“It was an accident...” She mumbled against her brother’s chest, feeling the tears streaming down her face. “It was an accident... but I--I’m taking care of it, I promise!” Isabel pulled away, so she could look into his eyes. She didn’t want to disappoint him, but Isabel feared that’s what would happen sooner or later. “Just don’t tell mom. Please don’t tell mom or dad. Please.” With that, she returned the hug, going back to crying some more.

Gemini: Favourite song?

I don’t think I could ever answer that. Songs are everything to me! Whether I’m singing or dancing or just listening to them... I do have my audition song, Maybe This Time, from Cabaret which I adore, but I don’t know if I would call it my favorite song.

Pulsar: What do you hope to do in the next 10 years?

Honestly? I really want to start making my own thing. I don’t want to land a blockbuster or anything, but some recognition would be nice. It doesn’t have to be the next Moonlight, but man it would be nice to be able to tell some stories and have people knowing who I am.

“Well crying was not something that went well in my household growing up. You were meant to maintain composure which usually meant crying was only done when everything got to be too overwhelming. So yes I’ve cried out of frustration many times. More so than sadness.”
