The silent "river" #demer near the #unihasselt. In India, especially in the plains, rivers mean huge water bodies that on their day can cover an expanse so wide that one cannot clearly make out one bank while standing on the other. Thus, in comparison, this small, serene stream felt hugely sedating and personal. As if some rich spoilt kid wanted a river of his own, and his benevolent dad just dug him a model replica of one! Anyway, the #coloursofnature that I encountered everyday while crossing this river on my way from my room to the university in a way mandated a feature of this #demure (a play on the name of the river) stream, a manifestation of the kindness and gentleness of #motherearth, on my profile.
