Scarlet approached the figure CURIOUSLY, though they kept their distance, stopping a few feet away.  For a moment they thought the body was dead, but the lack of smell was enough to clue them in that he was alive.  How curious.  Although they supposed sometimes one just needed to lie on the floor.  Still, a better location would have been a better choice.

a hiss; like a scared animal had she looked at the other. dark brows had been FURROWED, muscles tense as she had lain one of her SLENDER hands atop of a gushing wound. BLACK nails were ripping at the skin-tight material which enclosed her upper body; damaging the porcelain FLESH beneath it even more, though, it did not seem to faze her. it was less the PAIN of the wound but more the BURNING of the substance with what the bullet had been laced with; sadistic creatures would shoot at a DEMON with holy water. a GROWL almost manifested as her thoughts went back to prior events, though, the REMNANTS of self-restraint had her to the wall. her MIND spun, she felt dizzy but it was nothing compared to what she usually endured. ----------------- ❛  take a picture, so it’ll last longer... ❜ ---------------- voice had been LOW, beneath her breath but loud enough so the other got the POINT & would leave her alone. 

it was one thing to be wounded while the SUN still stood tall but another thing when someone found you like that. FINGERS were still tightly clasped around her bicep, her other hand slowly crawling towards her thigh, revealing a leg strap hidden by DARK fabric, OCCUPIED by a couple throwing knives. ---------------- ❛ leave me alone. ❜ ----------- her VOICE was dripping with venom as words rolled off that snake’s tongue menacingly slow. features did not WAVER; hardening, bright RED eyes narrowing. it was a threat. she did not LIKE these types of situations at all. one too many times had there been certain individuals who shamelessly tried to EXPLOIT the brute; well, it never ended pretty FOR them. & yet, the female was STUNNED for a few seconds; crimson IRISES that once bore into him, relaxed visibly & widened. the PRESSURE on the bullet wound lessened; brows rose slightly before she regained her rather STERN expression. ------------------------- ❛  okay, deal.  ❜

He turned his head at her like a curious dog, neck snapping loudly in the process as he looked her over. His face masked by scarves made of stretched skin, body covered by layer after layer of clothes to separate himself from the world around him. "I suppose a thank you is in order."

               { 🐍 } she had spent a long time in pursuit of releasing the kishin, and now that he lived once more, she most certainly was not disappointed with what she saw.

random muse encounters

                     tears dripping down the cheeks of the lone demon - hushed attempts to hide hurt whimpers, failed - as she weekly made noises that would concern any who walked past. that was if anyone would be concerned with a crying figure on her own.  

nezuko wiped away the tails of tears that stained her cheeks - but it did not keep the tears from coming. stubbornly she kept at it. the tears kept pouring from her, as she whimpered out more. now, what could have happened to make the small one cry so hard that her body shook?

waking up alone in a part of somewhere she did not know well .. frighten the demon. she had locked hands with her older brother and kept to his side as close as she could, to find nothing but black surrounding her and leaving her to wake up with her hand empty.. 

where was her brother? her friends? she knew they were close behind her trail also before things went dark. now she perked her head right up, the soft hues of pink flicked up towards something that moved in the distance that made her jump softly when she heard them - the demon rubbed at her eyes, trying to keep the tears at bay as she hoped it was the sight of her brother that would gaining close.

Her ears rang, a subconscious ear-splitting jolt that sprung her awake. It wasn’t like she was working herself to exhaustion, but the dimly glowing candle before her finally extinguished with a sudden gust of wind from her open window. Dark grey sky... How long did I sleep...? Groggily, Bel struck a nearby match and relit the candle before sticking her head out the window to look for the moon. It’s late... Early...?

More ringing. She wasn’t liking this. The medic didn’t think she did anything different, took any medication, ate something... weird. Nonetheless, she was worrying. The Scouts would depart shortly after dawn. They were to connect a couple of supply bases and head straight back. It was simple enough, but nonetheless could go awry in the blink of an eye.

                                     They could lose everything in a blink of an eye.

“ ... No time for...  “ she mumbled, disgruntled to no one with a rub of sand from her eyes, “ ... fucking singing... “ Certain she was only being battered by her own random, invasive thoughts, Bel quickly scanned over her paperwork, filed them away, then blew the candle before dropping out her window. Each expedition could be the last time she’d see the rising sun, and she wasn’t about to miss it that day either.

michiru halts whatever movement she was doing. slowly, very slowly in fact, she’d turn her head around and widen her eyes. her instinct told her to run. whoever this person is was strong, but would it be clever to try and get away if she doesn’t understand who they are.

she exhales a breath. then she shuts her eyes. she pinches her nose. michiru would turn off her emotions. she isn’t in the mood to feel terror. “ OKAY, OKAY, ” she mumbles to herself more than to the stranger. “ YOU GOT ME THERE; HAHA, HOW FUNNY. BUT SERIOUSLY, WHY ARE YOU HERE? ”

Much of him was liable for comment; what instense eyes, what strange hair! And even so, it was that small but fraying tear in his blazer’s sleeve which Vex focused on. It’d be a shame if it continued to stretch and damage his fashionable jacket all the more, not if she could do something about it that very moment. Still... To be in the presence of one like him, even she had to feel a tad nervous. Shy under his gaze, the petite demon twiddled her thumbs as she nonetheless looked upwards at the tall stranger.
