When I tell you I SCREAMED
Did you know that the blog wayward-wishes reposted your Kairi comic? They said it belonged to you and to go support you, but they also posted it to kind of make a different point than what what your comic was going for, so it felt kind of, I dunno... just not right? Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you weren't aware and weren't okay with it, but if you're cool with it, totally just ignore this message, it's like I was never here xD keep up the awesome work!
:/ Huh. I’m not super cool with that, but I also don’t really know what to do about it. If my comic rankled them so much, they’re always free to... not interact with it. Like, at all.
Props to them for making their own post, but props rescinded for reposting the comic in doing so. I’m not a huge media creator or anything. Reposting my stuff for crit on a site that I’m on sucks. It feels bad!
Even if it is a post that got popular and led to other people venting their feelings about Kairi (Heated discussion in fandom circa forever), I think it’s fair to ask that it be treated with the same courtesy that you’d extend to any other fanwork with a headcanon or interpretation that you don’t like. Which is uh. If you don’t like it, look somewhere else and move on. Or just vaguepost about it. |D
Which... I guess is kinda what happened? Still. I don’t have a problem with their opinion! My only issue is with my art being reposted. As Finn Adventuretime would say, “hey man, i don’t like that.”
Thanks for the compliment and the heads up anon, haha.
