One of my (many) problems with the outcry that *notall* Trump voters are racist: A racist thinks African Americans are more 'inclined' to criminal behavior. Racists are terrible people. A "not racist" Trump voter doesn't think African Americans are biologically more criminal...but they're willing to accept African Americans being hugely disproportionately punished, incarcerated and even killed for the same behavior white people get away with/get a slap on the wrist for. Because apparently that's a price they're willing to pay to have a president who will push back environmental regulations and fight against affordable health care. Or whatever. I'm not sure that's not worse in some ways. (This also goes for misogyny and xenophobia and homophobia etc etc etc)
