in theory working out with someone seems like it would be really nice, but in practice it kinda sucks
a different pace ...
Our eldest daughter is going to a Bon Jovi concert next month.
I watched an interview with Richie Sambora, from Bon Jovi, this morning, talking about his time-out from the band.
Despite the rumours of the band splitting, etc, etc, I heard a man who has missed out on his family and is choosing a different pace for now - "I don't think anyone really understands what 24/7 for 30 years is like - and it costs ... sometimes we have different opinions and a different pace".
He spoke about his daughter - "My daughter needed me and I needed her .. I don't have to reprimand her much, she reprimands herself - I gave her good morals & tools to help her live".
It seems a good thing to stop and count the cost - and choose our pace ...
