Chemistry Sampler, Part 16/16: Microscope

Now the first one is just an artistic composite photo to show the whole panel— I took a pic through a magnifying glass and then put a round border + filters on it— but the next three are all photos taken through a microscope, all showing the same cross-stitch piece at different magnifications.
Taking these was the most fun I’ve had in ages— a thousand thanks to my old physics professor, who let me into his lab and helped me use the machines! They’re incredibly fun to fiddle with, especially if you start with a low magnifications and work your way up.
The panel here is a special teeny-tiny one: I stitched it over one on 28-count fabric, so it’s about 1¼ inches long, half as much as a regular square.
