Me: hey, you wanna see this gif? It's ridiculous.
My mom: sure.

My mom: why is this a gift? It's not even that funny. I don't understand.
Christmas is commin' early!
This time next Monday I'll be on a plane, headin' home for Christmas. Somehow or another, I have to fit all this stuff in my suitcase, and hope no one inspects it :P The theme is Dutch novelties and other lovely things that aren't found back home (<ahem> Belgian beers). I'm very excited to bring such treasures home...but I might have forgotten some things. Do you have any last-minute recommendations that I simply MUST expose my fellow Canadians to? Bedankt!
Beer? Like. Tequila? Like. Beer WITH Tequila IN IT?! LOVE!
- There is a beer over here called 'Desperado' that makes me feel sorry for you, because you're not drinking it. Right. Now.
Pet Peeve = Solved!
Okay, so again:
You know how back home you buy travel size products (moisturizers, cleansers, spot concealers, etc) and keep em' in your purse. I HATE doing this because:
a) the products I like never come in these sizes and thus I have to compromise on some junk creme that smells like a concentrated perfumery. b) you're paying more for plastic than product. c) the bottles cannot be easily opened and refilled, so they're destined for landfills as soon as they're empty.
WELL I don't have to care about this anymore, because Europe's got it all figured out. At pharmacies they sell these darling 15ml containers for .30 cents a piece and you fill em' with YOU OWN product. It's so simple that I shouldn't be excited, but I am. A LOT.
So yeah, if you need a little bit of hair serum, cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, foundation, or primer- I'm your gal!
It's the little things...
You know how back home there are those pore strip dealies? There is only one company that seems to carry them, and they only makes ones that are for your nose (seriously, why just the nose!) Well here they have them too, but made by a different company, and with strips for your chin, which I gotta say is a MUCH better idea. Like, a whole lotta MUCH.
That is all.
