Alterhuman: Those who hold an identity that is not strictly (or not at all) human, doesn’t fit the normative human identity while still remaining human, or is human plus something else.
Welcome to Alterhuman Culture Is! We’re an ask/submission blog for alterhumans, similar to blogs such as plural-culture-is and xenogender-culture-is (be sure to check them out by the way)!
How this blog works is that you send in an ask or submission starting with “alterhuman culture is” or something similar relating to it, such as “otherkin culture is” or “vampire culture is” and then we post it! We’re essentially a blog for alterhuman moods.
A few rules:
1. No hateful asks. Asks about how much you hate x group or anything similar will be deleted--this isn’t the blog for that. You can post about community issues to a degree, but starting discourse isn’t allowed and will be deleted from the ask box at our discretion.
2. Any alterhumans can send in asks. This blog includes anyone who falls under the alterhuman label, that includes endogenic systems (which was included in the original coining of the “alterhuman” term) and people who still identify partially or wholly as human. This also includes people who could fall under the alterhuman label but prefer not to use the term.
3. LGBTphobia, ableism, racism and anything else similar will not be posted here. You will be blocked and your ask will be deleted.
4. Asks spreading misinformation will be deleted at our discretion. This is referring to anything about alterhuman identities as well as other communities outside of that. This extends to KFF to an extent, but we do recognize that some otherkin still use KFF terminology so we will be posting asks regardless of the terminology they use unless they spread misinformation or are harmful.
