Corner smoothing and differential dynamics in VVVV. Lycra to eliminate corners.
My first sonification of Differential Dynamics using Vvvv & Max/Msp connected via OSC. A 5 harmonic simple FM saw synth. Each square (arbitrarily) represents a harmonic within the wave, and their motion, size, & spacing are all at 2^ (or -2^ in the case of amplitude). FM Frequency = Visual feedback loop speed FM Amount = Visual feedback loop luminosity Lo-pass filtering = luminosity of each visual harmonic Synth volume = Visual overall luminosity
