This recipe combines the flavors of falafel with tender chicken breasts, creating a delightful fusion dish. The crispy falafel crust adds a satisfying crunch, while the creamy hummus slaw complements the chicken perfectly. It's a unique and delicious twist on a classic chicken dinner.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup falafel mix. 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 cups shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup hummus. 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley. 1 clove garlic, minced.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl with falafel mix. Cover each chicken breast with the falafel mixture and press it down gently to make it stick. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the chicken breasts on it. Put the falafel crust in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked. To make the slaw, put the shredded cabbage, hummus, lemon juice, parsley, and garlic in a separate bowl. Put chicken covered in falafel on the plate and serve hummus slaw on the side. Have fun!
