BioShock Infinite, and the BioShock series for that matter, changed my life. When I was a sophomore in college, I took a random elective course on video game marketing while on my way to become a news producer. Around that same time, I watched a LOT of Let’s Plays for video games. The more I went to my news classes, the more I realized a single truth after spending five years of my life dedicated to broadcast journalism: I was bored. The emotional shock from the “would you kindly?” plot twist...You can’t create that feeling in any other medium besides video games.
So, I switched my major, hopefully for the better.
