A quick trailer I put together for my game, Boat of souls
This is the animation I created for the self-published game, Boat of Souls. The art is entirely inspired by the tapa cloth art style derivative of the Polynesian culture. To play the full game, please visit https://boatofsouls.itch.io/boat-of-soals
A journey into the mystical waters of the Polynesian islands
My greatest opus, at this point in time. BOAT OF SOULS is a 2D adventure game inspired by real world environments and legends from the Polynesian islands. Race through the colorful nighttime waters of the French Polynesian to rescue the souls of those lost at sea.
A bad day can get better (or worse)
A text based interactive story I developed with a few other classmates for my interactive storytelling course. You're a single divorced father to a young boy. It's already hard enough for you, but it's about to get worse.

I designed and developed a logo for the YouTube channel, Idiots on a couch
Created an official logo for my content and self brand, AlliSandwich. Why did I choose a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?
A story of stepping outside what you're used to, and overcoming obstacles...as told by a soup can. Probably one of the weirdest pieces I’ve ever created. But hey, I tried something new and gotta say, I’m pretty content. Lighting exercise assignment for DIG3526C.
A quick video for my DIG3526C course that focuses on film making and film editing. I also really wanted to show off my adorable Sphero BB-8.
Special thanks to my friend Jenn who controlled BB-8 and also to my friend Rachel for letting me film at her house.
Finally, I want to wish a very happy 21st birthday to my best friend and twin sister, Jillian.
Second homework assignment for my animation course: create an idle animation. I actually jumped ahead in the assignment and did the next part first (add a motion to the idle animation) and THEN created this one. It didn’t take me that long to make, which is what concerns me the most. Watching the animation over, I probably should have added the feet too. Out of what I did create, I think the timing of the body mostly works. If anything, the controllers in the torso may be off, but I think it still looks pretty realistic for a first attempt.
First animation project of the semester! The assignment: choose a very basic, everyday motion from a list. I decided to go a bit off the list and elected to do a yawn. Let’s just say making the reference video was very easy to do. Starting to get the hang of using controllers. Mery’s a reliable rig, albeit a bit old at this point, but I just like her a lot.

BioShock Infinite, and the BioShock series for that matter, changed my life. When I was a sophomore in college, I took a random elective course on video game marketing while on my way to become a news producer. Around that same time, I watched a LOT of Let’s Plays for video games. The more I went to my news classes, the more I realized a single truth after spending five years of my life dedicated to broadcast journalism: I was bored. The emotional shock from the “would you kindly?” plot twist...You can’t create that feeling in any other medium besides video games.
So, I switched my major, hopefully for the better.
Thank you, Irrational Games. I blame you for this.
Somewhere, out there.
Created in Photoshop CS6. Here it is, my final project. It took me two solid weeks to get this thing together. This piece definitely required all the knowledge of Photoshop I’ve accumulated to create the end product, except making custom brushes. I struggle with that. Nevertheless, this is one of those things I always feel needs a “ta da” as a flourish. So yeah, TA DA.
Also, shout out to Pixabay for coming in clutch when I needed free stock photos.
BB-8′s got an adventure ahead of him.
Created in Adobe Ilustrator CS6. My first Illustrator creation!
Since the first time I watched Star Wars when I was VERY young (I don’t even think I was ten years old), I’ve been obsessed with a galaxy far, far away from here. I spent an absurd amount of time tweaking and working on my Force Awakens poster. There were more elements I wanted to add to the poster, but I still needed to meet my deadlines.
Created in Photoshop CS6: Multiple exposure practice. This is probably one of my favorite creations for my class to date. I used one of the preset skintone gradients Photoshop secretly hides within it and used two exposure photos over my model’s profile. I am still thinking about coloring the background, but honestly, I think the whiteness blends in really well.
Created in Photoshop CS6: Logo creation! I have a not-so subtle obsession with minimalism, especially minimalist logos and posters. So, I thought it would be fun to do something like that with my school’s logo. I really wish I was able to get a cleaner png file of the actual logo instead of one taken off of their website, thus the really rough edges and lines. Maybe one day I’ll go back and touch it up...
Created in Photoshop CS6: Album cover project. I chose the theme song for the fabulous show, Wynonna Earp. This project took an insane amount of layers to create and even more lighting. I’m really happy with how it turned out, but wished that I manipulated the lighting a bit more so it’s not sooo bright in the center and then dark around the edges. Diggin’ the badassery of it overall and made my peace (pun intended).
