Oct. 14th - Day 29 - Post 23
I have alot to smile about today. 1) God is amazing and nothing can separate me from His perfect love and I love how He shows me that everyday. Sometimes I don't see it, feel it, believe it but its always true & He is always faithful. 2) I'm down 2.5 pounds from last week. I was a little shocked but I'm being more intentional in my eating & working out, why should I be shocked by the fruits of my labor?? 3) last but surely NOT least, today I celebrated my 1 year anniversary with the love of my life. We had so much fun today, we went the Ringling Brothers circus & then the Four Seasons for dinner & got froyo for dessert. I love that man, he is so for me in every sense of the word & I am just honored that God saw fit to bring us together. I'm excited & humbled to see what another year holds for us.
<=== My weigh-in for today.
FITNESS: None for today but I've decided to switch it up starting tomorrow. For the past what 3/4 weeks I've just been doing cardio and I was going to continue in that direction until Nov. 20th (the end of phase 1 for createme: group of females helping each other become better versions of ourselves in all areas in a years time) because that is the end date for the team weight-loss challenge and I guess I was thinking that I want the # on the scale to be as low as possible to win this challenge so I'm not going to mess with weight training at all. Muscle weighs more than fat, but I sort of forgot that we're going my body mass or body fat.. SOMETHING/WHATEVER basically, I going to start sculpting & toning now. Ideally if I'm able to take an hour lunch my workouts will be 30min max (mon.-fri.) 20mins weights, 10 mins cardio. Weekends I do as I pleazees.
FOOD: Sunday (cheat day, keep this in mind as you read lol)
(yesterday) I had Friday's with the family. Grilled chicken cobb salad. no blue cheese and I used olive oil & lemon as my dressing. side of sweet potato fries. Water. (enzyme supplement)
(today) 3am random: spaghetti & garlic bread. (enzyme supplement)
11am: froasted flakes with 1 banana & almond milk. (servings of cereal & milk)
3:30pm: 1 piece of popeye chicken. funnel cake from circus (enzyme supplement)
7pm: pasta with sausage in a tomato sauce. 2 very mini crab cakes
The new new: Garden of Life "RAW Enzymes" (Digestive Enzymes for Women): So I bought & took my first dose on yesterday. Friday night cheerios made for a horrible Saturday morning. After that, I hit the internet quick & started looking for some digestion enzymes for my stomach. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH. As mentioned in previous posts, since childhood I've had a horrible digestive system and after getting more informed on exactly how the naturally produced enzymes work in our body & exactly what I need I decided to take the gut healing a step further. SUPPLEMENTS!. I totally recommend this route for those who have issues like me but I'm also doing this until I step up my game on getting enough enzymes from the more natural process which is from the food I eat. Until then I found organic & paleo friendly digestion enzymes supplements to be an aid for my body until I can do it on my own. The diff about this vs. Multi-vitamins is that these kind of supplements is not intended as a permanent fix or to be taken for a long period of time because ur body already produces the enzymes u need to break down protein, fats & carbs & absorb all the nutrients it just doesn't produce enough of it. The supplements are intended to heal to gut then set it free to be a big girl/boy & do it on its own. 3x a day with my meals the next 30 days. Obviously I will be tracking my progress in this blog for those who have considered this, those who haven't but now will, those who already decided to take this route but don't know the best brand to buy. USE ME, I AM AVAILABLE TO YOU. lol. Ummm so this pretty much it. I have a 7am wake up in the morning #joy. Good night & God bless.
